Charlotte James Furniture formed in 2003 and are one of our oldest clients - a true testament to our retention rate as an agency. Over the years we have worked with them on several branding and design projects.
Due to their expanded product range, we were tasked with designing and producing a new 96 page brochure to showcase their fresh design direction and latest furniture collection. They required a really clean layout that showed their beautiful furniture pieces at their very best as well as something that was easy to navigate.
A lot of time was spent researching and discussing the best layout, colour matching imagery as well as testing paper weights and print finishes. The result was a design that provided the luxurious and modern feel Charlotte James were looking for, which represented their brand perfectly. Face-to-face meetings were crucial when coordinating the final 96 pages of content and refining the layout. With a multitude of product dimensions to contend with, it was critical that the design structure was fine-tuned to the highest degree.
3,000 brochures were printed with hundreds of copies distributed at the recent Decorex International trade show and the feedback was very positive, with its tactility and ease of navigation particularly praised.
