A tried and tested recipe for making an engaging and shareable short film for a brand new car. Take one MINI Countryman with all-wheel-drive, one dry ski slope, one ramp, a dozen fearless skiers and snowboarders and mix very, very well.
This project presented us with a great opportunity to flex our n24 Productions muscle and provide the John Clark Motor Group with a 60 second video that really packed a punch. It had to tread a fine line between the manufacturer’s corporate identity guidelines and the playful character of the MINI brand. Ultimately, it had to make a strong lifestyle statement, promote the car’s newfound off-road ability, appeal to its outdoorsy target audience and be the main catalyst for generating enquiries and test drives at the dealership via social media and their website.
With an avalanche of aerial acrobatics to capture from countless angles in far from ideal weather, the finished film required a masterclass in editing - which just happens to be our Creative Producer’s speciality.
