Árón Taylor-Smith x nexus24 at knockhill - btcc '26

The BTCC wouldn’t be the same without its annual visit to Scotland. Knockhill is located in Fife, just north of Edinburgh, and BTCC cars first raced there back in 1992. The track is one of the shortest on the calendar at just 1.27 miles, narrow and undulating, and its unique character is loved by fans and racers alike.

With it being our home territory, it was a no-brainer to go the extra mile with our ATS partnership for this race weekend. Knockhill is a place where we've spent a lot of time both on and off the track as our client, John Clark Motor Group is one of the key sponsors for the circuit. And of course, Árón's teammate, Gordon Shedden. All the branding you see plastered on either side of the bridge, the pit lane and various other areas around the track is our doing.

Friday

We have a promotional track vehicle and this was the perfect PR opportunity to get it along there. Showing off the newly branded wrap alongside the race car for some pre-race media momentum. Árón also launched his social media takeover across our channels, with him sharing updates and answering any questions across the weekend.

Saturday

Free practice and qualifying, along with the 'race to pole'... race. A new shorter pre-race day addition for 2026 that really works to bring out the crowds on what's traditionally just a qualifying day. We were back there with the promo vehicle watching from the sidelines. Some bad luck with a few mechanical issues with the car, preventing Árón from climbing up the grid.

Sunday

The main event. We had 9 clients there for a full day or track action. Thankfully wrapped up in the VIP hospitality unit as the rain that morning was sideways. Always looking to do something different (we've done everything from branded bin bags to bottles of tonic), we brought our 'making good stuff great' mantra to every table with our swiss army tool giveaways. After a garage tour, plenty of food, some great speeches, amazing conversations, and not forgetting 3 races in between, it was time to leave. Sadly no silverware for our race team, but a great day and some fantastic brand engagement for our business.

Árón has over 40 business partners that support him and when you see the effort the Irishman goes to, in order to make something happen, be it a simple introduction or to maximise exposure, you quickly understand why.
