Nexus24 Joins Árón Taylor Smith for the 2026 BTCC Season

Nexus24 is delighted to announce a new partnership with British Touring Car Championship star Árón Taylor‑Smith as he prepares to take on the 2026 BTCC season with championship‑winning team Laser Tools Racing.

As part of the partnership, Nexus24 will enjoy nationwide exposure through high‑profile branding and activation across the BTCC calendar, connecting with fans and clients throughout the season. On top of this, one of the key activations of the season will be centred around their home race of the Knockhill weekend.

Árón Taylor‑Smith is one of the British Touring Car Championship’s most widely followed drivers on the grid as he enters his eleventh season. The Irish racer is the reigning 2024 BTCC Independent Champion and has achieved multiple race wins and more than 25 podium finishes in his career to date. Over more than a decade in the series, Árón has always been one to watch and the move to Laser Tools Racing is set to propel this even further.

Now heading into the 2026 season with Laser Tools Racing, a team with a proven championship pedigree, he will combine his experience with a team that is infamous within the championship.

Livery Reveal Aron Taylor Smith, Mark Blundell and Gordon Shedden

On the 25th February Árón officially launched his Championship challenger at The Bike Shed in London. Along with his Scottish team mate Gordon Shedden, as Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport revealed its striking all-blue livery ahead of the 2026 season.

Set against the industrial backdrop of the Shoreditch venue, partners, media and familiar faces from across the paddock gathered to see the new machine up close for the first time.

Árón and the team will now turn their attention to pre season preparations before the opening round of the championship on 18th April at Donington Park.
